ActivePure Medical Joins Alabama Primary Health Care Association’s Annual Health Care Conference

Three-Day Event Empowers Health Optimization from Leading Experts, Oct. 27-29

DALLAS (Oct. 21, 2021) — ActivePure Medical, LLC – the healthcare division of ActivePure Technologies, the global leader in surface and air purification technology, joins the Alabama Primary Health Care Association’s 36th Annual Conference & Expo as a representative and exhibitor for its leading disinfection technology. The conference highlights discussions from leading health care experts that assist Alabamians’ access to health care and improved outcomes. In addition, ActivePure Medical is supplying 14 air and surface purification units to protect guests. The three-day conference will be held at The Lodge at Gulf State Park in Alabama on Wednesday, Oct. 27 through Friday, Oct. 29.

“Improving health care outcomes starts with community endeavors and sharing knowledge on the latest technology and advancements in the industry,” said Dan Marsh, president of ActivePure Medical. “ActivePure Medical is proud to support and attend the APHCA Conference to ensure Alabama’s primary care systems have the resources they need to care for their communities.”

ActivePure is a science-driven company that has developed a one-of-a-kind technology that works 24/7 to proactively inactivate pathogens, including mold spores and other bacteria and viruses known to cause healthcare-associated infections (HAIs.)

In June 2020, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared the ActivePure Medical Guardian as a Class II Medical Device. The ActivePure Medical Guardian is a free-standing device used in professional healthcare environments to reduce airborne contaminants. ActivePure reduces the viability of microorganisms by 4-6 logs, such as Staphylococcus epidermidis and MS2, as tested and featured on the ActivePure Medical website.

ActivePure is adaptable and can be tailored to any interior space and available in both portable and HVAC installed units. ActivePure works as an additional layer of protection against harmful HAIs and is extremely effective against SARS-CoV-2 virus, which easily transmits COVID-19 and its variants from person to person in enclosed spaces. Independent testing, completed in FDA-compliant biosafety labs level three and four, found that ActivePure inactivated more than 99.99% of a high concentration of SARS-CoV-2 virus in three minutes.

The APHCA conference’s goal is to raise awareness and solutions for health care organizations to provide quality care and services for Alabamians. Health care is a fundamental topic and a fast-paced, changing industry; APHCA’s conference leads with empowering its members, partners and collaborators with the latest industry knowledge to ensure public safety and improved community health centers.

“This conference provides our members an opportunity to work together for the betterment of our communities. With leading experts to touch upon a wide range of health topics, we can extend the lives of medical businesses and give them the tools they need to support families in Alabama. We’re excited to have ActivePure Medical as an exhibitor to share their leading technology as an innovative solution to health and safety,” said Jeff Andrews, the collaborative programs coordinator at the Alabama Primary Health Care Association.

APHCA’s 36th Annual Conference & Expo is available in-person for vaccinated attendees at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 and ending on Friday, Oct. 29 at 4:30 p.m. at The Lodge at Gulf State Park, located 21196 E Beach Blvd Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
