Air and Surface Purification Technology Will Outfit the 2021 Michigan Critical Access Hospital Conference Nov. 11-12

ActivePure Medical to be In-Kind Sponsor of Michigan Center for Rural Health

DALLAS (Nov. 2, 2021) - ActivePure Medical, LLC – the healthcare division of global leader in surface and air purification technology, ActivePure – will provide the Michigan Center for Rural Health (MCRH) with conference-wide protection, outfitting the 2021 Michigan Critical Access Hospital Conference (MCAHC) with ActivePure Medical Guardian units throughout the event space. MCAHC will take place at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City, Michigan from November 11-12.

The ActivePure Medical Guardian is an FDA-cleared Class II Medical Device proven to reduce 99.9% of many airborne and surface contaminants, including the virus which causes COVID-19. The ActivePure Medical Guardian will be filling just such a role in protecting the conference’s event space.

MCRH’s annual Critical Access Hospital Conference is by invitation only, with the majority of attendants serving as CEOs, Chief Medical Officers, and Directors of Quality for hospitals throughout the state. In addition to the deployment of ActivePure Technology throughout the meeting space, additional measures to protect attendees against COVID transmission include requiring proof of vaccination and mask-wearing from all conference attendees while indoors. ActivePure Medical President Dan Marsh and Vice President of Marketing Marissa Ransdell will be in attendance.

Says ActivePure Medical President Dan Marsh, “Critical Access Hospitals play an essential role in our country's healthcare system and pandemic response. We know that the ActivePure Medical Guardian’s presence, along with the MCAHC's already rigorous safety guidelines, will provide attendees with peace of mind while they are sharing ideas and developing strategies for the post-COVID world.”

ActivePure Technology is a proprietary, patented and proven technology that works 24/7 to produce and propel molecules into occupied spaces. The molecules then reduce and inactivate clinically relevant pathogens in the air and on surfaces, including a range of viruses, such as SARS CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), bacteria, molds and fungi, on contact, by 99.99%.

MCRH, a state nonprofit affiliated with Michigan State University, has been in operation since 1991 and is one of only three non-profit State Offices of Rural Health in the United States. The organization plays a critical role in rural healthcare throughout the state, fostering collaboration between health departments, government, healthcare, and academia to better serve those in need of healthcare in rural areas. MCRH hosts the MCAHC annually.

The 2021 MCAHC will take place from Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 am to Friday, Nov. 12 at the Park Place Hotel, 300 E State St, Traverse City, MI 49684. Attendance at the conference is invitation only.
